How to Clean Your FreePour System
Keeping your FreePour Bottle and Kap in pristine condition is essential for optimal performance and long-term durability. FreePour System Cleaning
Our durable, stainless steel, double-wall, vacuum-insulated drinkware is built to last. Feel free to safely wash your 26-ounce FreePour bottle and Kap in the top rack of your dishwasher. Please note the plastic 6-ounce FreePour Wells are not dishwasher safe and should be hand-washed. If you have the Stainless Steel FreePour Well, you can confidently toss it in the top rack of your dishwasher, simplifying your cleanup routine. You may also opt to handwash your FreePour Bottle. A long brush can be helpful to ensure a thorough clean.
Although the FreePour Kap is top-rack dishwasher safe, we recommend following our detailed handwashing tips below for best results.
1.) Dissasemble the Kap
- Remove the Well and lid from your FreePour Kap.
- Move the handle to the down position.
- Unscrew the button and remove the button and spring.
- Remove the kicker (or gate), which allows you to switch between the beverage in your FreePour Bottle and the Well.
2.) Wash All Parts
- Use warm, soapy water to clean all parts thoroughly.
- Rinse each component.
- Allow all parts to air dry completely.
3.) Reassemble the Kap
- Insert the kicker (or gate) at a 45-degree angle.
- Place the spring back onto the button.
- Insert the button into the hole and screw it into the kicker.
- Screw on the lid and the Well.
